Idea — After a speaking task, respond to the content first — what learners said. Then address language. Reversing this kills the communicative purpose.
Example — ‘That was convincing. You mentioned three reasons — well-structured. One language point: ‘he suggested going’ not ‘he suggested to go.’
Try — Plan your next speaking feedback slot. Write content feedback first, then language correction. Practise the sequence before the lesson.
