ELT365 · Day 240 — Motivation in the Classroom
Idea
Motivation is not a learner trait you inherit — it is partly shaped by task design, feedback quality, and how visible learner progress is.
Example
Setting a task with a real-world outcome (a menu to write, a complaint to draft) raises intrinsic motivation because the purpose is clear.
Try
Identify one task in your next lesson that has no visible real-world purpose. Add one.
