ELT365 · Day 164 — Grading Listening by Task, Not Text
Idea — You can grade a listening task without changing the audio — by adjusting task complexity, number of listens, and the support provided before and after.
Example — A C1 class and an A2 class hear the same clip. The C1 task asks for implied attitude; the A2 task asks for a single fact.
Try — Take one authentic clip. Write three tasks — easy, medium, hard — for the same recording. What makes each one harder?
