A hotel inspection report I once read started with: “The bathroom was cleaned, the minibar was stocked, the beds were made.” Not a single person mentioned — and that was deliberate. In professional English, the passive shifts attention from WHO to WHAT WAS DONE. It’s not evasion — it’s register.
