English Tip · 05 — Connectors — Join Your Ideas Clearly

July 15, 2026 · Sourov · 1 min read

Connectors signal the relationship between ideas. Without them, sentences sit side by side with no logic. With them, your argument flows.

Examples

  • So = result: ‘I was tired, so I went to bed.’
  • However = contrast
  • Because = reason
  • Although = unexpected connection

Practice

Take a paragraph you’ve written in English. Count the connectors. Add one where two ideas sit without a clear link. Read both versions aloud.

Takeaway: One well-placed connector is worth ten extra adjectives.
