Idea — Graded readers are books written or simplified to specific CEFR or headword levels, enabling extended reading pleasure at an accessible level.

Example — A B1 learner reads a graded adaptation of Sherlock Holmes — familiar story, accessible language, real narrative pleasure. The level is right; motivation stays high.

Try — Find one free graded reader at your students’ level online. Oxford Learners’ Bookworm samples and British Council LearnEnglish both have free titles.
