Idea — Writing is rarely linear: planning, drafting, revising and editing loop and overlap. Teaching the stages explicitly stops learners treating a first draft as a finished text.
Example — A learner who brainstorms, drafts, then edits spelling last produces clearer work than one who writes once and stops.
Try — Break your next writing task into three visible steps — plan, draft, edit — and give time to each. Don't merge them.
