Idea — Accuracy means producing correct language. Fluency means producing language smoothly, prioritising communication. Most activities lean toward one, rarely both at once.
Example — Drilling a grammar pattern develops accuracy. A debate task with no correction develops fluency. Neither alone is enough.
Try — Look at your next lesson. Label each activity A (accuracy) or F (fluency). Is the balance right for your learners?
