Idea — Extensive reading means reading large quantities at or below learner level, for pleasure and fluency — not for close language study.
Example — A B1 learner reads a graded reader for the story, not to study the language. Volume and enjoyment are the goals.
Try — Ask learners to read one page of anything in English outside class this week. Report back: what did they notice, enjoy, or struggle with?
