Idea

Task-Based Learning plans lead with a communicative task; language work comes after. The task creates a felt need for the language.

Example

Learners plan a class trip together (task), then examine the language they used and needed (analysis), then practise target forms (focus on form).

Try

Write a task-based lesson plan for B2 learners. Name the task, the language that will emerge, and the focus-on-form stage.
