ELT365 · Day 243 — Month 8 Review — Classroom Management

July 12, 2026 · Sourov · 1 min read

Idea

Classroom management is a system of small, purposeful decisions: room layout, timing, instructions, monitoring, and feedback — all chosen to maximise learner engagement and language use.

Example

A teacher who prepares her board plan, writes her ICQs, and routes her monitoring before the lesson is managing the classroom before she enters it.

Try

Write five classroom management principles you will apply consistently from this month. Keep the list visible when you plan.
