Idea — Reading models provide genre exemplars. Learners read to analyse, then write to replicate — analysis feeds production.

Example — Read a film review: identify structure, stance markers, recommendation. Write a review of something recently watched using the same structure.

Try — Choose a short text type (100–200 words). Use it as both a reading text and a writing model in the same lesson. What do learners notice?
