Idea — Reformulation means restating what a learner said, correctly, without flagging an error. It models the right form while keeping the conversation moving.

Example — Learner: ‘I goed to Paris.’ Teacher: ‘Oh, you went to Paris! When was that?’ The correct form is in the response; the lesson moves on. Clean, low-anxiety, communicatively honest.

Try — In your next class, try reformulation instead of explicit correction three times. Did the learner notice? Did they repeat the correct form in their next turn?
