Three words you need first:
- CPF — Compte personnel de formation: your personal training account in France.
- OPCO — an organisation that pays for training in companies of one sector.
- bounce — an email that comes back because the address does not work.
You need: nothing. A pen helps for the last task.
Who I am (my own words, unchanged)
My name is Sourov Deb. I am a multilingual professional — native English, French C1, Bengali, working Hindi — based in Saint-Pierre, La Réunion (974). My career spans 18 years of luxury hospitality management in Sydney, Australia, with the Star Casino Sydney and the Merivale Group (The Ivy, Uccello, Establishment). I returned to Europe in 2016, settled in Réunion, taught English in primary school in 2024–2025, completed Cambridge CELTA training (120 supervised hours, 4 written assignments, IDP IELTS Specialist, 2026), and am now building a professional training practice targeting corporate, aviation, medical, and hospitality niches.

This post is a living reference: the organisations I have contacted, why each one matters, and what they are actually looking for.
Segment 1 — Start with the sector you can serve
Pick the sector you can actually serve, not the one that looks biggest. Each entry gives the organisation, a direct email, and the funding route that makes a contract possible — CPF, OPCO budgets, or salaried hiring.
A sector is one area of work, for example aviation or health. A funding route is the money that pays the trainer.

Segment 2 — Formation and Académie: language schools and education
DP Langues — contact@dplangues.re — Highest-priority private language school in Réunion. Active on France Travail, LaBonneBoite, and Indeed simultaneously. Hires CPF-eligible freelance trainers. Direct email works.
GRETA Réunion — contact@greta-reunion.fr — Public continuing education, Ministry of Education. CPF and OPCO funded. Vivier (talent pool) system: one application covers multiple missions over time.
CCI Réunion Formation Sud — fcsud@reunion.cci.fr — Chamber of Commerce formation pole, Saint-Pierre. Business English and professional skills. Relevant for any trainer targeting the corporate south of the island.
DAFCO — Académie de La Réunion — dafco.secretariat@ac-reunion.fr — Continuing education division of the regional Education Authority. Responsible for adult and professional training contracts within the national education system.
Université de La Réunion — directionrh@univ-reunion.fr — Entry via VAP/VAE for Master-level recognition, or chargé de cours status. The VAE route (vae@univ-reunion.fr) is the structural path to academic credibility in the French system.
VAE means validation des acquis de l’expérience: you get a diploma for what your work experience already taught you. A vivier is a talent pool: you apply once and they call you for many missions.

Next, two specialist sectors: aviation and health.
Segment 3 — Aviation and health: two specialist niches
Air Austral — saintpierre@air-austral.com — Regional airline, Saint-Pierre office. The training value sits in two distinct layers: licenced roles (pilots, air traffic controllers) fall under the ICAO Language Proficiency Requirement, Level 4 or above; cabin crew and ground staff need service and safety English — workplace English, not an ICAO certificate. Both layers are trainable niches.
Aéroport Roland Garros — contact@reunion.aeroport.fr — International airport authority. English for airport personnel, safety communications, and passenger relations.
CHU Réunion — drh@chu-reunion.fr — University hospital, one of the largest employers on the island. Medical English for clinical and administrative staff. OPCO Santé financed.
ICAO is the International Civil Aviation Organization. Its language rule asks pilots and air traffic controllers to reach Level 4 or above in the language they use on the radio. On international routes this is usually English.

LUX Resorts Réunion — luxiledelareunion@luxresorts.com — International luxury property. VIP client service in English. Training financed by OPCO.
IFR Réunion — recrutement-sap@ifr-reunion.re — Institut de Formation de La Réunion. The only organisation on this list that responded with a human reply (May 2026). Actively recruiting English trainers.
Berlitz Global — HR-Requests@berlitz.com — International language school network. Positive auto-reply received. Franchise model means Réunion-based delivery is possible under a global contract.

This list is updated as the campaign progresses. Out of 42 emails sent between May and June 2026, 16 bounced (38% rate), 1 received a human reply, and 1 received a positive auto-reply. That is the realistic picture. (my own words, unchanged)

Worked example — plan your first three emails
The task: You taught English in a hotel school and you live in Saint-Pierre. Choose three contacts and the money that pays.
