🧒 For younger learners: Use a toy town or classroom map. Ask: ‘Where is the teddy? Is it in the box, on the table, or at the door?’
👩🏫 Cambridge CELTA note: Prepositions of place are high-frequency A2 items. They resist rules — the best method is memorised chunks (‘at work’, ‘on the bus’, ‘in bed’) not rules alone. CCQ: ‘Is this inside something? → in. A surface or island? → on. A point? → at.’
