Kids English · Lesson 06 — Food I Like — Yummy Words

July 14, 2026 · Sourov · 1 min read

Some foods are delicious (yummy!), some not so much. You can say what you like in English very simply.

Examples

  • I like apples.
  • I like pizza.
  • I don’t like broccoli. (But it’s good for you!)

Practice

Say five foods out loud. Use ‘I like ___’ for the ones you love and ‘I don’t like ___’ for the rest. Be honest!

Takeaway: Likes and dislikes are the easiest sentences you’ll ever make.
