📖 From My Experience
Here is a sentence I genuinely use: I have worked in Australia, Bangladesh, France, and La Réunion. That sentence is Present Perfect because I am still alive; the experience is connected to now; it defines who I am. Compare: I worked at the Star Casino from 2009 to 2014 — that is Past Simple because it is a finished, dated event. The difference is whether the past is still attached to the present. In my case, every country I have lived in is still part of who I am today.
