Idea — In an information-gap task, each learner holds information the other lacks. They must communicate to complete a shared goal. This creates a genuine reason to speak.

Example — Student A has a timetable with times but no destinations. Student B has destinations but no times. They talk to complete the full schedule.

Try — Design one information-gap task for a topic you teach. Make sure each partner has something the other genuinely needs.
