Idea — Classic fluency activities: Find Someone Who; the 4/3/2 task (same story, less time each round); market tasks; debate; discussion; storytelling. All create genuine communication pressure.

Example — The 4/3/2 task: learner tells a story in 4 minutes, then 2, then 1. Speed forces fluency; repetition builds confidence and range.

Try — Try the 4/3/2 task with your next class. Debrief: what language did learners reach for? What felt just out of range?
