ELT365 · Day 265 — Planning for Pronunciation
Idea
Pronunciation is often the first thing cut when lesson time is short. Build it into the plan as a stage aim, not an afterthought.
Example
‘At the presentation stage, drill the stress pattern of the new chunks: /ˈkuːd ju ˈmaɪnd/ — choral then individual.’
Try
Take the target language from your next lesson. Mark the stress. Plan one drilling activity of 90 seconds maximum.
