ELT365 · Day 207 — Collaborative writing

📚60-Day ELT Masterclass — This post is part of an ongoing series. View full index →

Idea — Writing together — in pairs or groups — surfaces language choices through discussion, shares the load, and lets learners learn from each other before any teacher feedback arrives.

Example — Two learners drafting one review argue over "good" versus "excellent" — and learn from the argument.

Try — Turn one solo writing task into a pair task. Ask the pair to justify one word choice aloud as they write.
