ELT365 · Day 206 — Freer and creative writing
Idea — Freer writing hands learners the topic and lets them shape the text themselves, building fluency and ownership. It follows controlled practice, once the form is secure enough to risk.
Example — After guided practice with past tenses, "write about your best holiday" sets the language free.
Try — Design a freer writing prompt that reuses a structure you drilled this week. Support first, freedom second.
