ELT365 · Day 205 — Peer Feedback on Writing

📚60-Day ELT Masterclass — This post is part of an ongoing series. View full index →

Idea — Peer feedback builds critical reading skills in the responder and shows the writer how a real reader responds. It is not a shortcut.

Example — Learner A reads Learner B’s paragraph and says: ‘Your first reason was clear. I didn’t follow the example in line three.’

Try — Write two peer-feedback sentence starters: one for content, one for language. Give them to learners before a pair-exchange activity.
