ELT365 · Day 193 — Recording learners — audio self-correction
Idea — Learners who hear themselves speak notice errors they never catch in real time. Short recordings followed by self-transcription are a powerful accuracy tool.
Example — Learner records a 60-second description of their home. Transcribes it. Finds five places where article use was wrong.
Try — Ask learners to record a short spoken task on their phone. Play it back and find one thing to say differently. Share with a partner.
