Idea — Extensive listening — podcasts, series, audiobooks at a comfortable level — builds fluency and vocabulary without direct instruction. Volume matters more than difficulty.

Example — A B1 learner who listens to a scripted podcast for 20 minutes daily gains more listening hours in a month than a year of weekly classes.

Try — Ask learners to commit to 15 minutes of English listening outside class this week — any genre, any topic they enjoy. Report back next lesson.
