Idea — Set a reason to listen before playing audio. A clear task focuses attention and turns passive exposure into purposeful practice; without one, learners drift or try to decode everything.

Example — "Listen and tick the three items he buys" gives direction; "just listen" gives none.

Try — Take any audio and write the task first, before you even plan the lead-in. If you cannot state why learners listen, the activity is not ready.
