Idea — In a jigsaw task, different learners hear different parts of a recording. They then share information to complete the whole picture. The information gap creates a real communicative need.

Example — Group A hears the first half of an interview; Group B hears the second. Each group answers their own questions, then pairs up to reconstruct the full account.

Try — Identify a recording that divides naturally into two parts. Write separate task sheets for each group. Plan the share phase as a structured speaking task.
