ELT365 · Day 273 — Month 9 Review — Lesson Planning

July 13, 2026 · Sourov · 1 min read

Idea

A lesson plan is a thinking tool: it forces you to name what you want to achieve, anticipate problems, choose a framework, and sequence tasks from controlled to free.

Example

The teacher who plans well is flexible in class — not because she ignores the plan, but because she has already thought through the alternatives.

Try

Review your last five lesson plans. Identify one element (aim, timing, anticipated problem) that was consistently underdeveloped. Target it next month.
