ELT365 · Day 191 — Delayed error correction — the board trick
Idea — Write anonymised errors on the board during a fluency task. After the task, learners correct them together. Class-built correction; no individual embarrassment.
Example — Board during task: I enjoyed to swim. After task: “Who can spot the error? What is the correct form and why?”
Try — During a five-minute speaking task, note four errors on a clipboard. After the task, put them on the board for peer correction.
