ELT365 · Day 186 — PPP for Speaking

July 17, 2026 · Sourov · 1 min read

Idea — In PPP for speaking, the teacher presents the target language, learners practise it in controlled tasks, then produce it in a freer communicative activity.

Example — Teach ‘would you like to…?’ → drill it → roleplay a restaurant conversation.

Try — Plan a five-minute PPP sequence for invitations. Write out the presentation, one controlled task, and one freer task in that order.
