Choose from the outcome
For comprehension, supply an actual text and ask for evidence. Model a difficult inference before expecting independent performance.
For writing, identify audience and purpose; inspect a model, plan, draft, receive reader response and revise.
For new language, select contextual explanation, guided discovery or a diagnostic sequence according to learner needs. Guided discovery is not automatically a whole lesson framework.
Meaning checks and instruction checks serve different purposes. The supplied glossary’s talk ratios and time caps are heuristics, not universal requirements.
These decisions appear worked through in the sample packs.
