📖 From the teacher’s desk: Working as a sommelier in Sydney, I used numbers constantly — “Table 12, two glasses of Shiraz, four of Riesling.” My young son now loves counting everything at home in La Réunion: mangoes, shells on the beach, even the geckos on our wall! Numbers are everywhere.

How many fingers do you have? Count them out loud in English! 👐 Start with “one…” and go!

💡 Tip: 13–19 end in -teen. Say them with the stress on “-TEEN”: thirTEEN, fourTEEN!
