Idea — Professional learners have specific, job-related language needs. A needs analysis interview before teaching identifies what they must actually do in English: meetings, reports, emails, calls.

Example — A financial analyst presenting quarterly data has very different language needs from a receptionist handling enquiries. Same CEFR level; entirely different content.
