ELT365 · Day 201 — Receptive to productive — the skills bridge
Idea — Receptive input feeds productive output. Learners cannot speak or write language they have never encountered in listening or reading. Plan a reading-to-speaking or listening-to-writing bridge.
Example — Learners read three opinions on a topic → choose one they agree or disagree with → write a response → share it with the group.
Try — In your next unit, trace one language item from input (listening or reading) to output (speaking or writing). Show learners the journey.
