ELT365 · Day 194 — Correcting speaking without crushing it
Idea — In accuracy stages, correct on the spot; in fluency stages, hold back and give delayed feedback afterwards. Matching correction style to stage protects both accuracy and confidence.
Example — Jotting three errors during a discussion and reviewing them at the end corrects without interrupting flow.
Try — During your next fluency task, note errors silently on paper. Address two or three with the whole class once it ends.
