ELT365 · Day 189 — Drilling: choral then individual
Idea — Drilling rehearses pronunciation and form through repetition: choral (whole class together, low pressure) before individual (one learner, accountable). It buys confidence before learners perform alone.
Example — Model "I've never been to Spain", drill it chorally twice, then nominate two learners to say it solo.
Try — Pick one tricky sentence from your next lesson. Plan two choral repetitions before any individual nomination.
