Idea — A typical reading lesson moves lead-in → predict → gist task → detail task → response. Each stage narrows focus and reuses the text, so learners read the same passage several times with new purpose.

Example — One short article serves a prediction, a one-question skim, three scan questions, then a discussion — four purposes, one text.

Try — Take a text and sketch four stages, each with a different task. Reusing one text beats rushing through several.
