📖 From the teacher’s desk: At bedtime in La Réunion, I tell my son stories — sometimes in English, sometimes in French, sometimes a magical mix of both! At ELT Hub in Brittany, I discovered that young learners love creating their own simple past stories. Once they master “went,” “saw,” and “found,” a whole world of storytelling opens up.

What did you do yesterday? 🤔 Try to think of 3 things. Even simple things count: “I ate breakfast. I went to school. I played.”

Irregular past verbs — the most useful ones:
