Idea — While learners speak, circulate quietly — close enough to hear, far enough not to interrupt. Note good language and errors for feedback. Don’t hover over one pair; move to give every group equal attention.

Example — During a 5-minute pairwork discussion, the teacher notes three good phrases and two systematic errors on a notepad. Neither is corrected mid-task.

Try — In your next speaking task, carry a notepad divided into two columns: ‘good language’ and ‘errors to address.’ Use your notes for a 3-minute whole-class feedback stage at the end.
